The doctors at Pedi-Care have formed a multi-disciplinary team, ReBound Leaders, which is trained in concussion management. Treatment begins with a thorough evaluation of your child's mode of injury, symptom history, neurological exam and ImPACT neurocognitive testing. Based on your child's results, we will be able to tailor guidelines for your child's cognitive rest period and gradual return to academics. After your child is able to return to a full academic schedule, we will then initiate a Five Stages Return To Play evaluation to assess their readiness to participate safely in gym or sports.
