Dr. Karen Laugel, MD, FAAP
Dr. Laugel is a graduate of Howard University Medical School in Washington, D.C. She completed her pediatric residency at Waterbury Hospital where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Laugel is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Laugel founded Pedi-Care Associates in 1988 and is the Medical Director.
Dr. Melanie Georgalas, MD, FAAP
Dr. Georgalas graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. She completed her pediatric residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Georgalas is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Georgalas joined Pedicare Associates in 1990.
Dr. Nicholas Mongillo, MD, FAAP
Dr. Mongillo earned his medical degree at St. George's University before completing his pediatric residency at Bridgeport Hospital where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Mongillo is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr.Mongillo joined Pedicare Associates in 1990.
Dr. Michelle Rivelli, MD, FAAP
Dr. Rivelli is a UCONN Medical School graduate and completed her pediatric residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Rivelli is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr.Rivelli joined Pedicare Associates in 1992.
Dr. Christa Johnson, MD, FAAP
Dr. Johnson received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Rochester, N.Y. Dr. Johnson is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr.Johnson joined Pedicare Associates in 1997.
Dr. Kevin Benson, MD, FAAP
Dr. Benson received his M.D. degree from the State Universityof New York, Brooklyn and completed his pediatric residency at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, NY. There he served an extra year as Chief Resident. Dr. Benson is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr.Benson joined Pedicare Associates in 2001.
